Our History

DaviannaXperience has been created by interwining the company’s engineering know-how with the experience of its latest adquisition of an international travel agency in January 2022 which scored a 100% guest satisfaction.

Since 2015, our travel designers and experts have been in search of the best hidden locations our world has to offer. 2 trips around the world and over 50 countries, they left no stone unturned in their quest to show you the best a country has to offer! The only decision our customers have to make is where in the world they want to go.

In 2023 we celebrate the transformation of DaviannaXperience from an organization into a COMMUNITY.

During my summer vacation with EF in Playa Tamarindo, David was the one who organized our very first weekend trip. He handled everything—booking the accommodation, arranging the car rental, and planning all the activities. We visited stunning places and engaged in adventurous activities like swimming in hot springs, hiking through beautiful landscapes, and zip-lining through the trees. It was truly an amazing start to my Costa Rican adventure, and it wouldn’t have been possible without David’s attention to detail.

David planned everything for the group—he rented the car, booked our stay, and even mapped out the places we would visit along the way. In July 2018, we set off on a Caribbean trip that was, without a doubt, one of the most memorable experiences of my time in Costa Rica. David organized the entire journey for our group of students, making sure everything was planned to perfection. Our trip started with a fun night in a small village near Tenorio National Park, where we shared pizza and drinks in a cozy local restaurant. The following day, we explored the stunning blue waters of Rio Celeste, hiking through the National Park despite the rain. David kept us motivated, and his enthusiasm was infectious. It was the perfect blend of adventure, exploration, and relaxation, and I felt like I was traveling with a close-knit family.

I had the pleasure of meeting David and Susanna one morning in Tamarindo by sheer luck, and that chance encounter turned into one of the most memorable experiences of my life. They were helping a local business owner with a technical issue, and the way they were so invested in solving the problem struck me as incredibly thoughtful. When I told them I wanted to experience more than just the typical tourist activities in Costa Rica, they made it their mission to show me the authentic side of the country—its customs, history, and daily life. On the second weekend, David joined us for another road trip, and it was just as incredible as the first. He took us to explore a completely different part of Costa Rica, introducing us to local hidden gems that most tourists never see. We stayed in charming bungalows, visited volcanoes, and swam under a huge waterfall. The views were breathtaking, and the experiences unforgettable. David always made sure we were safe and comfortable, which allowed us to fully relax and immerse ourselves in the moment. One of the highlights of the trip was reaching the top of Volcano Irazú. After weeks in hot Tamarindo, I didn’t realize how cold it would be at the top, but David came prepared. He kindly lent me and another traveler warm clothes, allowing us to enjoy the experience without discomfort. The view from the top was breathtaking—the turquoise water in the crater and the surrounding clouds created a serene and almost otherworldly scene. David’s attention to detail and his care for everyone in the group made the trip truly special. I came away from it with amazing photos, memories, and the sense that I had experienced something truly unique.

One of the most exciting moments of the trip was when we realized we couldn’t reach Tortuguero by car and had to take a late-night taxi boat through the swamps. The adrenaline and the unexpected nature of the experience made it all the more thrilling. After exploring Tortuguero and continuing our journey down to Puerto Viejo, we ended the trip with a relaxing soak in the hot springs at Los Lagos Resort, sliding down a hot-water slide for the first time in my life! The mix of fun, nature, and wellness was just perfect, and it’s a trip I’ll never forget. David’s ability to bring people together and make sure everything runs smoothly really shone through.

As a solo woman traveler, I was looking for activities that aligned with my interests beyond the usual tourist offerings like seeing sloths or zip-lining. David and Susanna went above and beyond to tailor experiences that were meaningful to me, including visits to rural parts of Guanacaste. One of my favorite days was when we visited a family home in Villa Real, where I got to teach them how to use their first stove.
