Susanna and David were wonderful in coordinating our trip and ensuring we had a great time! The experience was like being with family. Despite the huge age difference, the level of respect and kindness that they have for others just felt like a beautiful trip with our kids. We had a powerful nature walk and the rainforest did it’s job! The hot springs were an amazing ending to a cold wet body and it made the end of the excursion all the more exhilarating. We are so grateful that they connected energetically with us and helped us press past our ideas of what these older bodies can handle! If coming to Costa Rica you don’t want to miss having their services as a part of your itinerary!

My husband and I cannot say enough good things about our honeymoon and it is all due to the hard work of Susanna and David. I have never worked with anyone as knowledgable, friendly, and committed when planning a vacation. We found Susanna and David after booking a stay with the Mother Earth Vegan Hotel in Tamarindo and were referred to them to help plan day trips and excursions. Susanna and David planned a call with us where we talked for about an hour, with both of them asking us what types of activities we enjoy and provided suggestions of things based on our interests. They put together an entire itinerary for our entire stay, each day doing something different to explore the natural beauty of the country. They did an amazing job of staggering outings so we'd have a more chill day in between the days of more activity. They made it so easy for us to sit back and enjoy a great time - they arranged for transportation, found us guides, etc. We had infinitely more fun with everything they planned than if we had tried to put things together on our own. For everything we wanted to do (scuba diving, hiking, kayaking, etc.), they knew exactly who were the best vendors and guides, and we had a fantastic time. Susanna and David were incredibly attentive and thoughtful the entire time - when the weather was unpredictable, they made some last minute changes to our schedule so we could do an estuary tour after the skies cleared up a bit. The two of them are also some of the nicest people we've met, and when we got rained out one afternoon, the four of us waited out the storm having drinks and playing games at a bar close to downtown Tamarindo. Planning with them felt more like planning a trip with long lost friends than with tour guides, and we had such a great time each day we got to hang out with them. We'd HIGHLY recommend having Susanna and David plan your Costa Rica vacation to anyone, and will definitely contact them again the next time we go, because we absolutely will be going back. Thank you so much for making our honeymoon so unforgettable!!

Authentic Adventure with Authentic People

I met David & Susanna randomly and I’m so thankful I did!! I am a solo traveler and was a little worried I wouldn’t be able to do excursions because a lot of them require a minimum of two people. But David & Susanna made everything possible for me! I was so happy I ended up signing up for two different excursions with them. First, they set up a horse ride for me with the chillest and respectful person. I felt safe and I had a lot of fun!! The second excursion was a buggy. They took me to the most beautiful beaches and set up the most amazing immersive lunch with fresh fruit and food and even coffee at the end. We had quite the adventure and ran into some road issues but David & Susanna figured everything out swiftly. They also checked in often to make sure I was comfortable as the day unfolded. I had such a blast and would HIGHLY recommend these two for an adventure they offer. The locals know them and they are genuinely beautiful people. (They also take amazing pictures of you through the day ) Can’t wait to return and join them on another adventure in the near future

A perfect vacation

This was my first time in Costa Rica and my first time traveling solo. I knew I wanted to get out and explore but had no idea where to start. My hotel connected me with Susanna, and the result was an absolutely perfect vacation that went far above my expectations. From the first phone call with Susanna, I knew I was in good hands. She helped me narrow down what kinds of experiences I'd like to have and made plenty of suggestions without being overwhelming. I ended up choosing 1 each day (sunset catamaran tour, hiking/hot springs, kayaking/snorkeling, and discover scuba) and each was wonderful. I really appreciated that all transportation was arranged and each evening I'd get a text letting me know what I needed to bring with me for the following day's experience, and that she communicated with my hotel as well. Every taxi driver she arranged arrived right on time and everyone I encountered was extremely friendly, professional, and helpful. I was anticipating being a part of group excursions and was pleasantly surprised that most were actually just me and a guide. The highlight was the full day trip to hiking at La Leona waterfalls and soaking in the Rincon de la Vieja hot springs. I was gone for over 10 hours and had the most wonderful guide for the day, Goose. He shared some fantastic stories and quirks about the country as we made the 2 hour drive. When I asked him which coffee was best to bring home as souvenirs, we made an unplanned detour to a local coffee roaster where I got a crash course in coffee, complete with samples and shopping. Between the hike and the hot springs, Goose took me to lunch at a local soda, where he ensured that the owner was able to accommodate my vegan diet. Everything was delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed getting to chat with Goose over an authentic lunch in a gorgeous setting. At the hot springs he was in no rush and let me soak as long as I wanted (and I was in such a meditative state that I honestly have no clue how long we were there). I would 100% recommend Davianna Xperience and plan to use them again whenever I am lucky enough to return to Costa Rica

The Perfect Balance of Experiences

I highly recommend working with Davianna to craft your vacation experience in Costa Rica. We were able to put together activities that satisfied a variety of interests of ours and incorporate local culture. We chose a coffee farm and pottery Experience one day and a waterfall hike and hot springs Experience another day. All three were outdoors, which we really enjoyed and our guides - Hahner for the coffee and pottery Experience and Cailor for the waterfall hike and hot springs Experience - were helpful, informative, and entertaining. They made the drives to the Experience locations just as interesting as the Experiences themselves, and the countryside was beautiful. They even stopped here and there to show us wildlife, like birds and monkeys. While I tried a little Spanish, we ended up speaking English most of the time, so don’t worry if you speak little to no Spanish. During the coffee farm Experience, Dennis provides a great walk-through of the collective, how coffee gets made and coffee tasting. And local artists were very generous with their time; they even let us use the pottery wheel and help paint a piece they were working on. The waterfall hike was beautiful and if you want an active Experience, this is the one for you. Wear shoes with good traction, your bathing suit, and prepare for a little bit of climbing through rocks or boulders (nothing too intense) and a lot of swimming. We loved getting to do both. Ramses, our guide for the trail, was very helpful through the tricky parts of the trail. And you can’t beat the views at the waterfall and along the way. After the hike, going to do a sauna, mud bath, and soak in a hot springs pool was the perfect way to relax. Thanks so much to Susanna and the entire Davianna team for making our first visit to Costa Rica so special. We will certainly plan to come back. ️

Pura Vida at its best!

Davianna made our recent visit to Costa Rica an AMAZING experience! Susanna and her staff were so accommodating and patient. Our driver Victor picked us up at the airport and immediately immersed us in Pura Vida! He made multiple stops in route to grab some local fresh fruit and check out the wildlife. He was genuinely excited to show us his country and even helped us brush up on our Spanish! Once we settled in at our resort, David and Susanna stopped by personally to discuss options and plan an incredible excursion. We set out for Diamonte Eco Adventure Park and had the opportunity to see local wildlife up close and learn about Costa Rica’s Rich culture and early history. Afterwards Victor drove us along the coast stopping to see some of Costa Rica’s finest beaches and hotspots. A+ company and we’ll definitely reach out the next time we visit!

Amazing Birthday Trip Experience!

I scheduled the Horseback Riding, Waterfall Hike, and the Full Day Nicaragua Tour (Active Volcano Viewing). I was a solo traveler, and I am so glad I went ahead and did these tours! This was my birthday trip, and I felt super special (Ballons, Confetti, Birthday Song, Birthday Lunch!), but I also connected with everyone genuinely! David & Susanna are great at setting everything up and are wonderful people who show true passion for what they do. Christian was also fantastic and gave so much local insight into Nicaragua. I was lucky to have Martha for both full-day excursions because we had some adventures! Even though these were tours and I had tour guides, I felt like I was with a group of people I already knew. Creating such comfortable atmospheres in this line of work is super important!

Waterfall, Hike & Zipline Experience

Waterfall, Hike & Zipline Experience(June 2023): Wow, DaviannaXperiences was amazing! ️️️️️ My husband and I celebrated our honeymoon in Costa Rica, and Susana, Keylor, and Pablo from this company made it absolutely unforgettable! KEYLOR (our driver) was more than just a driver for the day; he made the entire day memorable. He picked us up from our hotel on time, greeted us with a smile, and even went the extra mile by decorating the backseat with heart confetti and balloons. From the start, he made us feel comfortable, and that feeling continued throughout the day. Keylor made additional stops for us at a local grocery store, where we could buy cheaper snacks, a souvenir shop, and even a sand plantation. We could go on and on about Keylor—he was simply wonderful.

Serenity among the mangroves

When I talked on the phone with Susana, I explained that I wanted to see birds and other animals in a way that was completely respectful to them and the environment. She gave me some options and I decided to do a kayak excursion at the Tamarindo estuary. It was perfect— for a very reasonable price, my pickup from my hotel was included. My guide, Joshua, took me out on a 2-person kayak (which was great because he did all the work!), and we went out for a couple of hours. We didn’t see any monkeys but lots of kingfishers, herons, and egrets, and even a baby crocodile. It was peaceful, tranquil, just beautiful. Joshua is from here, a sweet young soul, and very knowledgeable about the different animals and trees, and he made sure I was enjoying the experience.
